How to Install multimedia-jack software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

multimedia-jack software package provides JACK (Jack Audio Connection Kit) and ALSA related packages, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install multimedia-jack

multimedia-jack is installed in your system.

Make ensure the multimedia-jack package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep multimedia-jack *

You will get with multimedia-jack package name, version, architecture and description in a table
